Tom Wallace has been actively involved in the Indiana political arena for several years. He served as Chairman of the Morgan County Democratic Party from 2017 to 2021 and has run campaigns for Mayor of Martinsville, Indiana State Senate, and Chairman of the Indiana State Democratic Party. He was elected as a voting delegate representing Indiana at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago and is well-versed in the intricacies and machinations of the political machine, and he also serves as a Precinct Committeeman. A native Hoosier, currently living on the family farm where he was raised in a rural, multi-generational, self-sufficient culture. He has been involved in local issues that affect the health and well-being of the community. Establishing a community information and action group addressing contaminated groundwater, public health exposure issues, coordinating and working with State, Federal, and Academic agencies — resulting in Government/EPA funding for remediation of the groundwater in the community. He has served on the Indiana Nationalities Council, which represents 50 cultural and ethnic groups in Indiana, and on the Board of the Scottish Society. He is a retired environmental engineer from Rockwell International, having worked on major aviation and defense projects at Air Force Plant 42, Edwards Air Force Base, and other facilities. Specializing in Air and Water Permitting, compliance, process, and matpatterial operations. Additionally, he is an Advanced Open Water and Scientific Scuba Diver and was a member of the research team conducting underwater archaeological assessments of 3 shipwrecks in Lake Michigan for a proposed DNR underwater State Park. He worked as a lineman on the Panama Canal, transcribed field notes and reports for a National Geographic project at Puna, Peru, sailed on Lake Titicaca, hiked the Inca Trail, and traversed river systems in the upper Amazon. Fundamental issues include maintaining a secular Democracy, comprehensive public schools, child welfare, rural healthcare, decreasing the tax burden on working families, supporting an independent farming and food-chain culture, voting rights, upholding and expanding the foundational rights of equality, liberty, and free self-expression. The voice of the many can only be heard with the hearts of the few.

Retired Civil/Environmental Engineer

Stan Diamond was born in Texas and raised in Louisiana. He obtained a Batchlor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and a Batchlor of Science Degree in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. After college Stan met and married Pam Roberts from Nashville, Indiana. In 1988 they moved with their two children, Tracy and Lee, into their home on Blue Bluff Road north of Martinsville.

Stan has more than forty-five years of experience in the fields of water, wastewater, and stormwater planning, treatment, and design. He practiced for thirty-seven years in the Indianapolis area. During that time, he has served as the lead designer, project manager, and or technical specialist on numerous drinking water projects throughout Indiana, including the design of Elkhart’s Northwest Well Field, Huntington’s North Water Treatment Plant, four phases of water plant improvements and two Lake Michigan intake extensions in Michigan City, the water treatment residuals handling facilities at the City of Indianapolis’ Fall Creek and T.W. Moses Water Purification Plants, and the residuals handling and dewatering facilities at the City of Indianapolis’ White River Purification Plant.

Stan has also served as the senior design engineering and technical specialist on numerous wastewater projects throughout Indiana, including the expansion of Indianapolis’ Belmont and Southport Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plants. Stan also served as the lead designer on the Indianapolis Airport’s Stormwater & Deicing Capacity Projects.

Stan finished his professional career working part-time for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in the Drinking Water Permits Section where he was responsible for reviewing and processing drinking water permits.

Stan currently serves as a supervisor on Morgan County’s Soil and Water Conservation District Board. He is an organic gardener, and enjoys fishing, woodworking, and cooking.
